Gemstones & Materials
Amethyst: Amethyst is a purple variety of Quartz, ranging from pale lilac to deep violet. Its color is natural and requires no treatment. Sourced primarily from Brazil, Uruguay, Zambia, and India.
Blue Topaz: Blue Topaz is a variety of Topaz whose vivid blue color is produced through irradiation and heat treatment of natural colorless Topaz, a process that is universally accepted in the gemstone industry. Sourced primarily from Brazil, Nigeria, and Sri Lanka.
Citrine: Citrine is a yellow to orange-yellow variety of Quartz. Most commercially available Citrine is produced by heat-treating Amethyst or Smoky Quartz, a process that is standard and universally accepted in the industry. Sourced primarily from Brazil and Madagascar.
Garnet: Garnet is a group of related minerals occurring in a wide range of colors, with deep red being the most classic. Other colors include orange, green, and purple depending on the variety. Their color is entirely natural and requires no treatment. Significant deposits are found in India, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and the United States.
Lemon Quartz: Lemon Quartz is a bright yellow to greenish-yellow variety of Quartz, typically produced by irradiating and heat-treating natural Quartz or Amethyst, a process that is standard and accepted in the industry. Sourced primarily from Brazil.
Peridot: Peridot is the gem variety of the mineral Olivine and occurs exclusively in yellow-green to olive green. Its color comes from iron within its chemical structure and is entirely natural. Major sources include Pakistan, Egypt, the United States, and Myanmar.
Prasiolite: Prasiolite is a pale leek-green to mint-green variety of Quartz. It can occur naturally but is most commonly produced by heat-treating Amethyst, a standard industry practice. Sourced primarily from Brazil and Poland.
Rose Quartz: Rose Quartz is a pale to medium pink variety of Quartz. Its color is natural, caused by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese within its structure, and requires no treatment. Sourced primarily from Brazil, Madagascar, and India.
Smoky Quartz: Smoky Quartz is a grey to brown variety of Quartz whose color is caused by natural irradiation from surrounding rocks over geological time and is entirely natural. Sourced globally, with significant deposits in Brazil, Scotland, Switzerland, and Madagascar.
