Lustre is handcrafted natural gemstone jewellery made in small batches by artisans around the world.
Nothing mass produced. Designed to endure.
Natural | Artisanal | Intentional

Born in India, where jewellery is tradition, Anaita Thakkar was drawn to gemstones early.
She spent her twenties travelling before settling in Singapore. Somewhere in that stop, which became home, Lustre began instinctively, shaped by a focus on material and form.
Self-taught and detail-driven, Thakkar develops each piece through trial, refinement, and wear. These are not performative pieces, but ones reached for repeatedly.
Collections are often small. Developed slowly.
Produced in limited quantities by artisans she works with directly.
And true to her beginnings, the stone always comes first. The design follows.
That’s the whole system.
Every Lustre piece begins with the gemstone.
Each one is selected for character, colour, and individuality. No two are exactly alike, and no attempt is made to make them so.
Metals are chosen for how they work within each piece and how they wear over time, not just how they look at first glance. Vermeil, recycled brass, and sterling silver plated in gold are used for their durability, finish, and the way they age.
What is built around the stone is made by hand, then tested for balance, proportion, and wear. Not just how it looks. How it wears. How it lives. How it endures.
