Smoky Quartz: Smoky Quartz is a grey to brown variety of Quartz whose color is caused by natural irradiation from surrounding rocks over geological time and is entirely natural. Sourced globally, with significant deposits in Brazil, Scotland, Switzerland, and Madagascar.
Citrine: Citrine is a yellow to orange-yellow variety of Quartz. Most commercially available Citrine is produced by heat-treating Amethyst or Smoky Quartz, a process that is standard and universally accepted in the industry. Sourced primarily from Brazil and Madagascar.
Ruby: Ruby is the red variety of the mineral Corundum, with color ranging from pinkish-red to deep blood red caused by chromium. Heat treatment to improve color and clarity is standard and widely accepted in the industry. Major sources include Myanmar, Mozambique, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
