Warranty
Lustre stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we make. We offer a 180-day warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, because we believe in what we make and we want you to wear it with confidence.
What's Covered
We will repair or replace any piece that we determine to be defective due to a fault in workmanship or materials, at no cost to you, within 180 days of your purchase date.
What's Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Exposure to water, including swimming, showering, or bathing
- Exposure to chemicals, perfume, hairspray, sunscreen, or cleaning products
- Exposure to saltwater or chlorine
- Impact, dropping, or physical force
- Loss of gemstones resulting from any of the above
- Excessive wear and tear beyond normal use
- Repairs, resizing, or alterations carried out by anyone other than Lustre
A Note on Demi-Fine Jewellery
Lustre pieces are demi-fine jewellery - crafted with natural gemstones set in gold-plated brass or sterling silver. They are designed for everyday wear, but they are not indestructible, and they are not fine jewellery.
Gold plating, by its nature, will wear over time. Natural gemstones, while durable, can chip or loosen if subjected to impact. The better you treat your pieces, the longer they will last.
We recommend:
- Removing your jewellery before swimming, showering, or exercising
- Putting your jewellery on last - after perfume, moisturiser, and hairspray
- Storing pieces individually in the pouch provided to avoid scratching
- Wiping pieces gently with a soft dry cloth after wear
This isn't small print designed to catch you out. It's genuinely how you get the most out of your Lustre pieces.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Email us at sales@shoplustre.com with the following:
- Your name and order number
- A clear photo of the piece and the issue
- Your original proof of purchase
We will assess your claim and respond within 3 business days. If your claim is approved, we will arrange a repair or replacement. Return shipping costs to our Singapore studio are the responsibility of the customer, regardless of location.
Repairs Outside the Warranty Period
We are happy to assess and repair Lustre pieces outside of the 180-day warranty period. Repair costs will be quoted before any work is carried out. Email us at sales@shoplustre.com to get started.
A Few More Things to Know
- This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims
- Items purchased during sale periods are covered by the same 180-day warranty, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase
- This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable Singapore consumer protection law
