Gemstones & Materials
Pink Opal: Pink Opal is an opaque to translucent variety of common Opal found in pastel pink tones. Its pink hue is natural, caused by inclusions of quinone pigments. Sourced primarily from Peru.
Sapphire: Sapphire is the gem variety of the mineral Corundum and occurs in every color except red. Blue Sapphire is the most well-known, with color caused by iron and titanium. Heat treatment to improve color and clarity is standard practice and universally accepted in the trade. Major sources include Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Madagascar, and Australia.
Emerald: Emerald is a vivid green variety of Beryl, one of the most prized gemstones in the world. Its color comes from trace amounts of chromium and vanadium. Treatment with cedar oil or resin to improve clarity is standard and widely accepted in the trade. Major sources include Colombia, Zambia, Brazil, and Zimbabwe.
Pearl: Pearls are organic gemstones formed inside mollusks when an irritant becomes coated with layers of Nacre. Cultured Pearls, the standard in today's jewelry market, are produced by intentionally introducing an irritant into farmed oysters or mussels. Their luster and color are entirely natural for white and cream tones; other colors may be achieved through dyeing. Major sources include Japan, China, Australia, and French Polynesia.

Care
Our jewellery is demi-fine and deserves a little care.
Jewellery goes on last, comes off first — after perfume, moisturiser, and hairspray, and before you shower, swim, or work out.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, chlorine, and harsh chemicals. These will wear down gold plating over time.
Store pieces individually in the pouch provided. For sterling silver, an airtight bag reduces tarnishing.
Clean gently with a soft cloth after each wear. For a deeper clean, use a silver polishing cloth. Never use alcohol-based or abrasive cleaners on plated pieces or gemstones.

Natural Character
Every gemstone used in our pieces is natural and one of a kind. Variations in colour, tone and inclusions are part of their inherent character, not flaws.
